Description
Still curled up in his dining room in Giverny, France. It was a gift to Claude by his Japanese friends to remind him of his love for cats. Georges Clemenceau and Claude Monet would sometimes discuss glory and rewards.
“He (Monet) burst out laughing, and the Chinese porcelain cat, asleep on his cushion, knew he need not wake up for so little“. The ceramic cat in question, actually Japanese, is still sleeping on a side table in the dining room of his home.

Excellent photos!

How nice. And typical. My Kitty is lying in exactly this position right now, after spending 15 minutes in my lap. Even the insides of the ears match. So, no difference between a Japanese cat or a French, or a Swedish cat! Cute! Keep up the good work! :-)
