Like many of us, these scenes evoke a kind of gagging response; yet we all use these fuels, and have to take some responsibility for these refineries. (It was gagging to see that chemical plant around Houston spill its guts into the rainwaters, last year, with all its toxicity; the owners knew it was a danger, and didn't do much to prevent it.) But, visually, this is a clear and stunning aerial view. Beautiful clarity on those structures, and lots of detail---even in the water, where we see the ground underneath. A stunning visual of a painful sight, the contradiction of our modern lives. Beautiful, Richard, even if it made you uncomfortable to take it.
