OMG! This is just fantastic - so beautiful, Lil' Sis! Those eyes are hypnotic,

I've always found doing some kind of art to be very calming and therapeutic. Doing something that calms the spirit and soothes the pain is very important at this time. There will always be an empty place where our loved ones dwelt in our lives, but we have to carry on and do the things that would make them proud. You mom is smiling down on you right now, very proud of the beauty you add to this world.

I'll be writing in a day or so, Lil' Sis. In the meantime, I'll send you a big hug. ☺

Thank you, Big Bro. You are so right about art being therapeutic, somehow we need to let go of the stress, sadness and pain. I know you'd been there and done that, it is very consoling to hear it from you. Hugs!

What a beauty!!! Wonderful work as always! Yes, creating art helps to deal with pain and loss. It is not easy, but slowly you will recover and will treasure the good memories. I wish you strength and the spirit of you beloved mother to help you to go through the difficult time. Hugs!

Tocante. Sensível a soberba arte minha amiga. Transmite seu sentimento no fundo da alma e certamente sua arte a fará atravessar este difícil momento. Com toda a amizade.

Very beautiful! Creating art is a way to deal with pain. Yet I've got another way to deal with such situations:

"There are two means of refuge from the miseries of life: music and cats."

Albert Schweitzer

So the way I deal with grief is often to sit on my Piano and let the soul express it self or having a cat on my lap. How ever if the reason for my grief is the loss of one of my mostbeloved cats, then music often is all that's left (beside praying of course).

I send you a biiig hug

That's so sweet of you, it's a very nice quotation indeed! I have an eight-year old pug, he keeps me company all the time and what a great gift that these loving furballs can give us. We need them, they make life better!

Gorgeous render! And I agree with Rod, the eyes are hypnotic. I don't pretend to have answers on how to deal with grief, but art seems a good way to embrace those thoughts, feelings and emotions that words alone cannot aptly express. Just remember you have friends who care and are with you as you go through this difficult time. :)

Art does help with such terrible pains you must be feeling at the moment, Jenny... whilst the pain will eventually lessen, your artwork will remain as a poignant testimony to the trying times you endured and survived. Sending you HUGE {{{{hugs}}}}...
