lol, Steve: I've known many a poor musician who'd snarf up a discarded keyboard in a second...This is from the YM series, which (if I recall) was very old. And it's not a pro model...Is it playable? Well with keys missing (left side), probably not. Once those motherboards are damaged, the keyboard becomes temperamental and nasty sounding. However, against one of your beautifully striated, intense sidewalks, it becomes a strange 50s sci-fi beast...and you did it criss-crossing the lines of the sidewalk: Solid abstraction, Harry. A fine abstract of a familiar object; and your angles are as right as in all your other sidewalk shots. (And btw: Those are dirt cheap speakers: You'd get better sound out of an iPhone...)

Great photo. It's amazing what you find and how you make it work.

An interesting find to be sure... In days past it would have gone home with me were I the one to stumble upon it. And it would have gathered dust in my basement for 15 years, until i decided to (re) discard it. I've gotten better over the years at not being a pack-rat!
