In this and the last image, you seem to be concentrating on one or a few techniques for each variation; and the results are striking. First, your original is another of your scintillating manhole covers, with lots of grainy detail on the metal, and deep almost fluid grays. (Well, maybe that's actual water in the grooves: It looks like a cover after rain, or a sprinkler...) The light is wonderful; and with the yellows of the grass, it's a really fine solo shot. The second one---well! It grew fur, and then decided to shake it off, like a dog; and you caught it in-motion. It's got wonderful play and energy, and the whole pic has been deluged by tassels and tufts. The last one is almost the outgrowth of the previous: It's been taken over by fractal-y, paisley patterns, and turned into a big fractal blanket with a white creature on top. (Or maybe it's a silk scarf that's dancing while no one's looking.) Terrific trio, Harry. No one would ever guess 2 and 3 were manhole covers. One wonders what variations 4 through infinity would look like...

Yes, it could be a really nice idea to have FLUFFY manholes. LOL ! You really gave them a fun trip into the digital world. I am sure they appreciated it :)
