Description

--------- (better zoomed) This is way enlarged; and since it came from a 2 MP camera, I softened, painted, etc. But we really do get fog like that...and that thick... That's all folks hope you enjoyed! Mark ---------

You know what...my first DSLR was 2MP! Then I upgraded to 5MP, and my friends said...'why would you EVER need anything that powerful'!!!!

The two first photos really were "overwhelming", I had to think of geysers coming up, and I know it's water from a lake because you mentioned this, Mark, but almost I smoke the lava. What a power is shown, and I would have liked to hear the sound that came along, would have liked to feel the sparkling drops on my skin, haha, and who knows I was, kind of perished, especially now with only 1 leg to really to be able to stand up; but fortunately the third image brought everything to rest, a golden calm, shining in its reflection, with calm patterns making on the water. Then finally the mist, the beach in a curve, around a kind of "pipe dreams" that travel up in the air, yes I know it's tower blocks, but in the picture it has a beautiful dreamy, blue atmosphere, in which thoughts fairy tales shapes, the lights are like falling stars, and you're going to wish for things, though, I would count all my fulfilled wishes there in that fog, and hope that I don't miss the fog. The latter is a Dutch saying. If you go in the fog, means in English: you go missing in action, you have done something completely wrong, or you have not taken into account certain consequences.

btw thank you Mark for all your wonderful comments and some big laughs, f.e. about "pimping" 😇

All I know about my wee little Nikon is that it HAS pixel-thingies. Shows what i know about digital photography.

A spectacular way to finish this assignment with this fabulous image. Your charity will be thrilled with what you have come up with as they are all superb and all quite different. All would look great framed or mounted as big as possible on a big wall. I could look into these and be lost for ages. Thank you for sharing and I do hope you are on the mend. 😄😄😄😄

beautiful work, Mark. the pretty colors make this so magical, like a dream world. I like how the lights fade off in the distance like they are leading me to some special place I just have to go see. well done, well done!

Marvelous in the objectivity it is trying to create. That is a thick fog. Fine series, Mark. But, when I've tried zooming in on your work, the image becomes smaller rather than larger.

The sweeping curve of the shoreline pulls me all the way down and around, and the colors are just right. Blues and greens, with the light and the fog ... I love what you've done with this shot. I bet your friend was delighted to get these!
