Description
Since I had some interest expressed in a story, I thought I'd attempt to write and render one. What started as a venture into a short series has sort of ballooned into a more lengthy series of renders. It's a story with a bit of a fictional twist based on today's stories of androids and future technological breakthroughs in genetics and cloning; but perhaps not in an overly obvious way once you proceed into the story. You will see, the characters are very realistic with a sort of real every day quality. It is set in the future, obviously, but where time becomes simpler and more focused on quality of life and the redevelopment of a family life. Perhaps a time we would be better off returning to ourselves in this day and time where it seems we never have the time to appreciate our lives, family, and friends with the same relaxed quality we used to have once.
This is a preview of one of the characters. She is the eldest daughter, and I honestly haven't even named her yet. She emerges from ugly duckling to beautiful swan throughout the story too. Nearly the splitting image of her mother in everyway, but certainly not at first. She develops, going from the first and for a short time, only child, into resentment of her siblings who she believes are drawing more parental attention than she receives. Gradually she seems to decline towards a state of despair, an event all too common among children leads to a realization which begins her ascent towards the beautiful young woman she will become.
I've a little ways to go, but have been rendering images, sometimes several scenes a day with changing characters and scenes. It's taken a while, and there's a twist near the end which I am now entering into the process of rendering scenes for.
I hope those interested can follow along with the story and enjoy my take on a mild sci-fi story. There's no lasers, no spacecraft, and no aliens; but there is more a transformation from the future to a bit of the past. I hope you'll find it interesting as it's more ordinary people living ordinary lives; with just a little twist.
I will hopefully be at the point where I can start posting and writing it soon. Keep and eye out for it if it interests you.

Delightful image... she quite lovely... I've had some experience trying to put together a series of images and story... and it's not as easy as it might seem! Often the images only take a day to develop but the narratives take weeks! I wish you success with your attempt!

Thank you. Yes, the images can come about quite easily, but aging the children and making them look somewhat the age they should be, and in progression of their birth is a chore. Being that I can work on this several days at a time without much of a break helps, though keeping up with imagining what is happening and coming next, as you say, sometimes takes a great deal of time.

She is very lovely ! Have fun in writing the story and doing the renders. That is the only way to do it. I keep my stories simple. They are mostly some description about the render and I am kinda open ended in story telling as in I do not think beyond a render / chapter until the next chapter / render. You want to depict a lot so I can already see you having to do a lot of work. Wish you the very best. Enjoy the process.

Rereading you comment today.... I like how you mentioned your process for writing stories. I tend to think beyond the image, which sometimes help create/modify the current one a bit. Yes, it has become a long process. I am trying to keep simple the things which are more intensive, like settings. Where possible I am otherwise planning on using HDRI images for more outdoors scenes so realism is better, and lighting simpler.
As you see, though, I am wordy, so I've almost always too much to say. I like your process though, so I will try to keep things more simple and not think too far in advance. I've already created and removed the beginning of the story once, and had over 100 images ready for use. That's perhaps too much. I appreciate your input, Thank You.
