Amazing how nature camoflages animals. And, considering how small many insects are, it makes me wonder over their intelligence in hiding and running from predators. And yet, many are insectivores and feel when something's coming, and know immediately where to pounce! I also wonder why their abdomens are so BIG! I don't know how big / small this spider is, but it sure looks scary in this magnification. Keep up the good work. :-)

I cannot speak about spiders in general but this spider has a big abdomen because she is full of eggs. She would almost fit on a thumbnail.
