I discovered this unfinished model at Grabcad.com last year & finally got around to repairing it. Originally there were only two wheels & it was missing a lot of accessories. So I set about fabricating a complete interior with seats, floor, door panels, headliner, dashboard & steering wheel assembly. I also fixed the bumpers & rear lights. I added the mirrors, door handles, antenna & windshield wipers. Finally the model was finished with four original tires, rims & hubcaps (including a great graphic) of the original Firestone F-560's recommended for Volkswagens. I knew this model had great potential & I enjoyed restoring it to a former glory.
