Before I comment: You'd mentioned when you zoom some of my uploads, the zoom is smaller: Absolutely, Harry! It's happened to me a number of times, and I have no clue why. I thought it was a Mac thing (you have Mac too): But Helle's had the problem, and she's on Windows. I have no clue why that happens; but honestly? I zoom, hit the "plus" arrow, then drag it to my desktop---and then open it in Preview: It will always revert to the largest size that way. (Windows has a generic viewer too: Same thing.) Not convenient if you have a small screen, but fine with large ones. And I figure, if RR is upset because I'm "taking a photo"---no: I only drag it to view it: trash the jpg afterwards. If they solved the problem, I wouldn't have to drag it in the first place. In any case, you're not alone: I will never understand some of the things that happened to this site since the (cough, cough) 'revolution'...

Your original shot is about as objective a photo as one can take of this beast: Love your no-apology flat-out capture of those pallets: a big, utilitarian wall of lines and shadows (zoom's even better!). And the road in front is blank, yet filled with grit and early morning light. I love how the lines of the background harmonize with the lines of the pallets: Fine seeing, Harry. And the variation: A big bleached, strident, high key number; where you've heightened blacks and left in reds---love it---to make a kind of Depression Era shot, with a sinister intensity. That truck will never look as good as does here, so it should send you royalties. Unblinking photography. Love it.

Now that is what you would call a load of pallets and they are well tied down too. I like the digifiddle you have given them with the red accent gives them a beautiful look. 😀

Bet that huge truck had to drive very carefully :)

And yes, I have problems also the other way. Guess they made the site always resizing any picture, so it fits the Page in the width. Sometimes I must put a wide frame in same grey background color in order NOT to have my little image magnified so much that it gets ugly by it and other times, the opposite is going on when my image is very large. But there is no doubt, it doesnt make our images better that way. So if one really want to see the original properly. Press the blue "Open Full Image"

I've noticed the problem, too. But I thought it was a problem with my computer. Glad to hear I'm not alone with this problem. And, yes, if of particular interest, I grab the image and put it in the Windows picture viewer to see the details, then delete it. Now, with this, I see you've been having a lot of fun! Keep up the good work. :-)
