First snow of the winter. 5 centimeters / 2 inches. Snow plow scraping on asphalt waking the whole neighborhood. Wet snow. Will soon have melted. So why the plowing?
14:00 - half of the snow has melted. Guess why? Sunny!
Enjoy.

It's been a while since I uploaded anything. Being retired isn't so fun. In fact, a bit depressing. Trying to cope with that. Am reading Dr. Norman Vincent Peale's books. They are good, even if they are from the 1950s.

great capture it seems as if I had more time for the galleries when I was still working versus being "retired".
we have had no snow this winter as of yet, but one extreme cold front makes it out of Colorado, we could have snow. I drove through snow 10 inches deep on top of ice west of Wichita Falls all the way past Amarillo,TX into New Mexico in 2006 or 7

Nice it's soooo hot here. The pic of Dachau was from last month mate. We are finally back in Australia and now planning our driving trip around Tasmania which we will do in about a month.Yeah, unlike France it's finally on the correct side of the road...:) I know what you mean about depressing retirement! I'm only 48, but I left my corporate job years ago now in search of a better quality of life. I now work with autistic children which is great. It gives me so many holidays that frankly I don't know what to do with myself sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!! That's why Deb and I travel so much. You go crazy being at home all the time eh!

Got a dusting today here along the Mississippi River.

I like the stark contrast second story shot of the snowy plains below. At least you got a little snow. It's been summer here, with no rain, for several months already, with no winter in sight. As for retirement, I like it; relaxing, no one to hassle me, live at my own pace, is great and uplifting.

We had a lot of snow here. First time since 2010.

Wonderful photo of the snow fall, Michael! We've had a few dustings of snow around here but thus far nothing more. They are threatening us with more snow over the weekend, but we'll just have to see what happens.

You got a very fine shot. We havent got much snow either. Not that I miss it. From our house to the entrance of the property there is only lawn and there, it isnt easy to move away snow :)
