Nice. But yes, it is too dark. Your aim should be to be able to see details even in the darker parts of the image. In this the dress should also show details. And you do not need to increase the power of the light, you can always just change the diffuse color / strength of the dress under the surface tab to brighten it a bit. Same goes for her skin tone.
