every variation here is sharp and vivid. IN fact, the original has more softness than its variations...it has a soft beautiful shadow, and the light on that wall is splendid---more of your signature early LA light, w/ fine detail on the soil, etc. The 2d one has gone cellular, with all kinds of colonies sprouting off each other---more sharp contrast, and dark vs pale hues. I really like that. The third is minimal, maybe 3 hues at the most. And that yellow is eye-popping---it has a real poster feel to it. The 4th is almost like a depiction of chinese dragon painting, with the swirls and the sculpted forms. A rich, strange and beautiful carved image, in dark gold tones. And the last is like number 3, only with deeper reds, and liquid light, and it ends the series in a kind of fractilius flame. A beautiful collection, I like them all. And the original stands well on its own...

Fabulous manipulations of the lovely shadow on the wall. Should I choose one, it would be the middle one, black on yellow. Awesome !!!
