The android company CEO ordered the maintenance crew to make room for the alien's saucer in the cargo shuttle bay. The military commander of the space station let the CEO know he needed to be there to offically greet the aliens since this was a 'first contact' situation. His superiors on the planet below had ordered him to do make an apperance and provide some kind of presentation. Everyone gathered in the landing bay just before the aliens shuttled their saucer through the gate force field. You could feel the tension in the air as the hatch slowly raised on their saucer after it touched down. Just as slowly, the stairs unfolded below and crept into place. The first alien to appear was greenish and scaley. He had a very defensive attitude about him as he glanced around the shuttle bay. Everyone quickly looked at each other then just as quickly returned their glances to the next disembarking alien. This one seemed more at ease. You could tell it was in charge just by the way it carried itself. Once on the hangar floor, they exchanged quick words with the military men and just as quickly dismissed them. The commander seemed much relieved at this development as did his 1st. They quickly left. The blue alien approached the CEO and began talking in rather good language. He seemed to have a good grasp of what he wanted to say. It was soon apparent that the property in question was the very same person that the androids had apprehended the day before. At the very least, the aliens wanted to see him to see if he was alright. The CEO didn't know what to make of this request. He was clearly out of his element dealing with these aliens. That is when the android stepped in and took over. He began chatting with the blue alien like it was a long lost brother. They discussed many different topics and before long, the alien was heard to roar with laughter at one of the anecdotes the android told it. The blue alien told the CEO what a treasure he had with this android and wondered if the android might be purchased. 'Oh no!' gasped the CEO. 'We have a long ways to go before we will be ready to put these androids on the market. They are continually surprising us with their rate of development and innovation.' 'Very good, sir.
