Sure is a great pov and capture.

What? No pteranodons? Aw, they missed something! Reminds me of the dome in "Jurassic World". Thanks for the statistics. There is something similar (Hall of Flowers) in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Keep up the good work! :-)

as a photographer who fancies himself an 'architectural photographer' (me) I am very impressed with the clarity and presence and wonderful geometric 'fair' of this shot. I find such structures very hard to capture; yet you caught the total feel of this dome, and all its variations, and its sweeps and many visual 'accents'. Lots of visual rhythms going on in this shot. And your crop brings us right into it, making it more intimate. Fine job on this, Harry: Kudos for handling a difficult subject so easefully.
(Btw, whenever I've walked into a conservatory with a camera, my lens fogged up immediately---I mean the second I closed the door behind me. I had to wait several minutes before my damned camera cooperated. It really brings home the humidity of some indoor conservatories. Don't know if you had that problem, but it's a royal pain if you're in a hurry!)
