Description
Yesterday I had a giggle, sitting in the sunroom, watching Pjuske coming from the other end of the garden with a mouse in his mouth. IN the middle of the lawn he began playing with the still allive poor mouse. It tried bravely to run away again and again. Then came a long tailed Magpie. He wanted the mouse too, but he was not brave enough to try and take it from Pjuske, so he flied away. Then came a big Crow and it jumped around and watched Pjuske playing and catching the mouse, letting it run a bit and catching it again and again. WOOSH! and the mouse was gone, because the crow Stole it before Pjuskes eyes. Maybe NOW, Pjuske learned it is not wise to play with the food. He didnt seem to bother much. He is pretty good at catching mice :)

Just what my Kitty is doing right now, sleeping beside the computer - his favorite spot when I'm at the computer. But she's an indoor cat - no play with mice, but very well catch (and eat, yuck!) silverfish! Your Pjuske looks big - what breed is he? Keep up the good work. :-)

A highly amusing story with a moral, Helle. I wonder if Pjuske learned his lesson. When you have your food before you, eat it right then! Anyway, I like the way the kitty is sleeping on its back, oblivious to all around it. Great and timely capture.
