Description

In this business ya gotta be ready for anything, but this was over the top. I guess I should've brought a bigger knapsack too. The usual suspects (sort of): Models set up in DazStudio and Poser; composed, additional setup, lighting, some effects, and rendered in Vue6Infinite; finishe work in PS Cs3

Yeah, Mike, really...he looks a bit menacing and one step is not that far away!

Yep, that is definitely a creature I would not wish to meet. I would also be wishing I had a bigger gun. Nice setting, effects and posing. You might want to try moving the camera forward so that the figures occupy more of the picture space, this is good as it is but might look better with the protagonists filling more of the frame. I like the angle of the man's neck as he looks up at the creature, it really emphasises the height of that thing.

Thanks for the kind words and the suggestions. How much is in the frame is always a consideration for me. I confess that I like the environment that I put the characters in and I hate losing the ambiance. But your point is taken and I'll keep that in mind in future compositions.

What a nice creature. Please don't shoot. I am sure it only wants to play... ;-)
