Description
Captured 8/2/17 in front of my condominium complex. Since rain is such a rare commodity around this part of the state I wonder where the truck accumulated that mess. The vehicle was entirely covered by that hardened goop. And, still no winter yet this season.

Oh, my. At least you weren't the culprit, dirtying the car. From the thumb nail I was wondering - what has he been up to, now? But, as you say, where DID it pick up all that goop? My guess is a construction site with wet cement. Keep up the good work! :-)

A great title for these captures, he looks as though he is going to have to spend a long time in the car wash. Maybe he had been to a rally in the country. 😀

That looks like concrete for sure. Since then this truck has been cleaned

Maybe that truck was tooling around the off-road area up in San Gabriel Canyon? Wherever it was, it sure needs a wash.

Looks like somebody's been having fun playing in the mud! Cool shot of it, my friend!

lol, Helle: Like the truck said, "screw this, guys, I'm goin' out for a roll in the mud!" Well apparently it's concrete---and your son said he saw it after it was cleaned. I hope people zoomed this: The detail in the concrete is really sharp and expressive: The lines and blobs look like a Jackson Pollack painting. And the blobs on that glass are wonderful contrast (thick blobs over sheer glass). The trucks are almost abstracts. Terrific detail in these, and the coagulation of lines around the tire-edges are really intense. (And am I right that there's no tire in there? No---I'm wrong! I see the tire: It's just so far below the chassis that it's hard to see at first.) Love the detail and contrasts here. (What---did this guy drive too close to a concrete mixer truck? What was he doing??? 'Cause if you have concrete falling from the sky, I'd suggest getting outa LA---drought's bad enough, but rains of wet concrete is really pushing the limits, lol...)
