Description

She lives in a matrilineal, matrilocal, polyandrous society where each woman may have two husbands. All the females are related and live in peace and harmony under the guidance of the eldest in the society. Anyone unable to live in harmony within the realm is dealt with by expulsion, where they usually succumb to the harsh elements. This sentry's name translates into roughly "Flower in the Storm." Flower is the eldest of four sisters, and they are the special guards of these mountains, each guarding one quadrant. Men are chosen carefully to enter their realm and are blindfolded during their journey to their new home where they will be well cared for. They work as craftsmen, but their primary purpose in the realm is for procreation. At the age of 40 they are once again blindfolded as they are returned to their original lands. The young men born to these women are brought, also blindfolded, to various regions at the age of 13 to live out their lives...
