Description

Hemingway's Rum and Papa's Pilar Rum. their business ethic was modeled after Hemingway's ideology located in Key West, Florida http://www.papaspilar.com/#/papaspilar/landing their building was burnt before and they remodeled to occupy again. it is a very old building. I read on their website that the middle class(also poor class or no class like "me") mixed poor quality rum with coke to hide the poor taste. when I was in my early 20's I was drinking 151 proof Bacardi rum straight but only small amounts

I think that building needs a little work. Nice capture, though.

Hemingway lived in the Keys, didn't he? Good rum can rival some brandies. When I went to PR I would always come back with their best Rum...Nice capture of this piece of local history.

Cool photo of these historic buildings, Richard. Wow… 151 proof? Gads… If I even looked at a bottle of that I'd fall down!
