I was lucky to have such unique intimate and intense relationship with the love of my life. If a man is ready to listen and ready to view his girlfriend/wife/partner as an equal to himself, magic happens. Such relation transforms both of us from inside out into a new "us.” Such type of transformation of Ionivka and Marc is also one of the main recurring themes of my comic book. After the death of the love of my life, however, I also realized that she has left a priceless legacy into me; I have to consolidate it into me. This is what I am working on, now, during my mourning, and that will help me to unify every aspect of my "new" myself. In a way, it is as if she is still living, within me. I think that makes sense even to a hardcore atheist. I cannot hug her or kiss her anymore, but I can still feel the effects, upon me, of these tender gestures from her legacy that lives within me. I like to call that legacy : her posthumous letter. The picture here illustrates 3 frames from a page of the last episode of my comic book. The event described here, happened much after (about 3 months) of what was illustrated from my previous picture : "Losses.” What Ionivka is interacting with is a 3D avatar of Marc that is animated by a special software (using artificial intelligence, emotion and personality) called : a posthumous letter. Such type of letters is also an important recurring theme of my comic book. Indeed, the title of the first episode is "Les lettres posthumes", which means "The Posthumous Letters.” Its front-page picture (without any lettering) was posted on July 1, 2017. The first picture, "May I?" of my comic book was posted at Renderosity on Feb 14, 2007, but I had started to work on my first episode (Les lettres posthumes) since Nov 2004. Some could think that my comic book story was influenced by a premonition about the eventual fate of the love of my life; I do not think so, because it is the fate of everybody. I will eventually continue to post my pictures and to comment on some pictures that are posted by some artists at Renderosity, when ... I will be ready.
