A gaggle of geese. We were driving through our old neighborhood in the Applegate Valley a couple of days ago when we spotted these geese by the side of the road. My wife pulled over, rolled down her window, & I took this shot...

In zoom, this has a very strong graphic feel, most apparent in zoom; and it all harmonizes very well, with the birds almost feeling etched 'into' the image, or incised. Striking clarity and printlike feeling here, making the gaggle feel as much like a work of art as actual birds on a jaunt. Fine low pov too.
