In Permanent Beta Mode: Learning ,improving sometimes forgetting but hopefully evolving . I remember a time when i had great passion for this creativity stuff ! Since officially forced into a early retirement now its just a means for passing the time .Cultivating the art of self-effacing humor while trying to age gracefully, all thanks to Opdivo and Yervoy for buying me some more time !

nice shot. I have a love for space going vessels, and this one fits into that. You scored good with me on this one.

Hi Michael, thanks for this great work and post ! I just love those kind of space and spacecraft views ^_^ On the critical side, my perception is that the light on the spacecraft, the planet and the moon all seem to come from different sources / directions which is awkward (but have the same colour) which alters my overall depth perception.

You are absolutely 100% correct on your call, the light source is really wrong ! I had a couple of fill lights that i forgot to turn shadows off on after rendering and wrestled a bit with back plate to match source . After spending way to much time on modeling and texturing i basically lost my patience on the beauty shot ... Cheers, Michael.
