Description

In 2018, Valentine's Day fell on Ash Wednesday. If it had fallen on Fat Tuesday, this would have been a very different picture. A Happy Valentine's Day to one and all!

Beautifully lit image. As a Daz user and for comparison, I'm curious if you could achieve the same lighting effect in Poser? Another image?

Thank you! The lighting emulates the key light, fill light, and hair light of portrait photography, with the added benefit that the subject does not move! It is simply three spotlights in DAZ Studio and rendered with Iray. The lighting effect is absolutely possible with Poser. I'm not sure I can exactly replicate this image in Poser because some elements may be DAZ specific, but I could create a similar scene. I'll see what I can come up with.

Is her Valentine a cigarette? Great job with the lighting. And great to see you back with a post! I've missed you. Keep up the good work! :-)
