I can imagine a car drive into the concrete wall that garage door is painted on. Oops! What was THAT? Fun image. :-)

I really enjoy murals. this was very well done.

ps: I loaded the original by error without resizing and the system flipped it. I edited to correct the size and forgot to check for a new thumbnail

Somewhat melancholy with the contrast between the charming harbor mural and the reality. Fine capture!

I'm at over 40 minutes here, which, in a 2 day visit, means I must move on. I sit with everything, but have chosen only at random for tonight. I end with this because it's another of your masterful treatments of a surface---often an architectural facade---where you bring out a zen-like balance in so many diverse elements. Geometric forms often abound, as they do here. And you bring out decay lines and grain, etc, which counteracts the geometry (decay moves in non geometric ways, communicates organic-ism, randomness, even though there are natural principles underlying it). And you bring out hues so that they speak boldly. And in various such images, you find patterns underlying the image which unify it one way or the other (the horizontal wooden slats underneath the mural, here; you let them speak loudly enough, here, that they unify the various sights). And you have a 'framing' on top and bottom: The top, with its snippets of textured wood or whatever those are, on top; and the bottom, with that shiny sidewalk, acting like another abstract element, to 'end' the piece. A packed piece of design, terrifically done, with a sense of a construction as much as a painting. I hope I wrote clearly enough, because this is something you do extremely well.
