He just asked me "Why do you loose time to get photos of all these laundry stuff, come and get a picture of mine", and I did it...Retired man sitting with a view to the street, watching all the activities of the early afternoon...Old quarter, Afyon, Turkey.

Yes, I've told you before, I love your pictures from Turkey. What you've told about the "old" man is typical for proud Turkish men. Once I had a similar situation ;o)) Excellent work!

Nice one. I've crept around trying like heck to capture pics like this, too, from a lot of countries I've been to. And then, surprise (!), once in a while the "target" will say, "If you want foto, just ask." (LOL) Once, I asked to take a picture of an elderly lady in Italy. She objected. Complaining she was no longer beautiful (made a bunch of hand motions and looked away). My friend, who "dabbled" in Italian, translated my reason as best as he could. I told her that each wrinkle on her face told a story of her life. And that I wanted to get a picture of all those stories. I meant what I said and I think she understood because she turned around in her wicker chair and smiled while I snapped away. I think the white is a bit washed out (here and there). It may be hard to burn it in a bit, but the pic is so nice, I'd try if it were mine. Thanks for sharing.
