Description

Taken on a walk with friends in the town of Gold Hill a couple of days ago. The walk took us past the site of a dam & hydroelectric generating plant that were built in 1904. The electrical plant was shut down in 1972 & the dam was removed in 2010... Please zoom.

The construction is very much like coastal artillery emplacements, built around the same time. Fascinating!
