Description


Captured 10/25/17, about two blocks from home. The front of a modern business converted into a 1940's or 1950's barber shop, or shall I say barber shoppe, replete with a shoe shining stand, for a recent movie or television shoot. The particular street where that is located is often converted into various main street scenes by studios for production purposes - employing tons of personnel and equipment, as shown in the bottom two pictures. Fascinating series of photos - particularly the bottom two. It's so amazing to me to see the behid-the-scenes of how movies are produced. Lots of equipment, and a great shot of the guys laying the dolly track.
