Description
Volendam is one of Holland’s most loved fishing villages. If you are ever over that way, it is a MUST place to visit and enjoy. The people are so friendly. Our friends took us there many times to buy freshly caught eel. A national delicacy.......as a seafood lover....I LOVED IT. It was SOOOOOO fishy and smokey....but it was DIVINE!

Yes, It looks like my kind of place.... the eels too. Fresh fried or smoked eels.. OHH YUMMY! Havent had either of those for years.
