Description
Captured 10/25/17, about two blocks from home.
The front of a modern business converted into a 1940's or 1950's Army recruiting station, for a recent movie or television shoot. The particular street where that is located is often converted into various main street scenes by studios for production purposes - employing tons of personnel and equipment, as shown in the bottom three pictures.
And, I have no idea what the name of this production was going to be, and whether it was meant to be a movie or a television show. With security guards around I wasn't going to bother the crew with questions. In fact, I was fortunate that they even tolerated my presence just taking photos.
More to come.

Thanks so much for sharing these pictures. I was lucky enough to see two location shoots when I was working in downtown Brooklyn. One was for an episode of the American Sherlock Holmes TV show and the other was for a brief scene for Men in Black 3. In both cases the crews were amazingly nice and allowed me to take some photos of how they were redressing the neighborhood to masquerade as London in the former instance and late 1960s Brooklyn in the other. They may not have been as nice if the stars themselves were there but the crews usually have to set up several hours prior to the shoot to ensure everything is in its place.

Cool seeing all the old rides parked there.

Must have been fun to see these preparations for either a tv show or movie live. You were lucky, you had the opportunity to photograph it :) Thank you for sharing, Harry :)

Have not seen places like this in years. That old anyway. Cool.

Great photos of this production in progress, Harry. It fascinates me to no end watching how they produce movies or TV shows. I think I missed my calling in lifeā¦ LOL
