The only postwork here involves cloning to hide a couple of Artifacts. Not quite pure Bryce but nearly.

Reminds me of "Riverworld" Riverworld is a fictional planet and the setting for a series of science fiction books written by Philip José Farmer. Excellent done,super image!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nicely done! The atmosphere of the entire scene is awesome. What sort of volumetric effect did you use here?

There are three large cylinders in the scene placed diagonally from top left to bottom right. I have applied the "Lit Rays" material from the complex effects section. Then reduced the transparency. To the right there is a large sphere that sits around halfway above the ground plane and encompasses the camera. This has a volumetric cloud material with the base density reduced. I have also set the material options to include sky integration, volume blend altitude and distance. I use this technique quite a bit for atmospherics, it also works well with clouds set at a distance.
