I finally got round to doing my first motherboard swap in 6.5 years. Unfortunately, it turns out the new motherboard is bricked right out of the box, and it'll be a few days before a warranty replacement can come in. So in the meantime, I have a Chromebook to fall back on, and using it to amuse myself and create what I can before things are back firing on all cylinders.
