Hello Rendosians !
What's going on in your world ?
I hope that you're doing fine !
(OK ! OK ! It was just an old George Strait song but I thought it was doing great with my image !)
I've just found out a kind of funny exercise : you have to take an old picture of yours and... draw it again several years later !
Sooooo... I took my old George Strait's portrait and redraw it from sketch to the end and I was surprised to see the outcome.
I remember how proud I was with my previous drawing and now I'm just ashamed seeing it (LOL !)
The positive point with this exercise is that you feel better when it's finished and you have realized how much you have progressed !
So our next appointment with Mr Strait will certainly be interesting but..... not before 2025 ! (LOL !)
Have a great week-end ! As for me I'm finally on vacations ! I feel pretty well not going working :-D

this is a fantastic way to see how your skills and you have changed. But I know the feeling, I look at some of my old renders and want to toss them out of the gallery.

Avec le temps, les traits se sont affinés, mais il reste difficile pour moi de juger, car ce qui était déjà une composition graphique réalisée sur tablette à l'époque, avec talent, reste aujourd'hui la preuve évidente que tu sais manier à merveille appareils photo, logiciels de 2D ou 3D, et tablettes, brosses et pinceaux. Cette nouvelle version est superbe, Virginie! Bonnes vacances, veinarde !

we tend to be our worst critics. I have thought several times of doing a new picture of Palacio del Obispado in Monterrey,Mexico. I was fortunate to sell my first version to a restaurant
