Description
For as long as people can remember the statue of the little faun boy had always been there. It sits in a little plot of land outside of town and is a pleasant place to visit. It is also a favorite play area for the children of the village and they have a fun time climbing on the statue. One day while Gretchen was playing with her friends she heard a voice. "Hi, my name is Crevux, what is your name?" None of the other children seemed to have heard so she stayed quiet. Later that night she told her little brother Gannet and he got very excited. "Do you think the statue will speak to me too? Lets go now!" Gretchen didn't want to go at night but she couldn't let Gannet go alone, so she reluctantly agreed. They had to sneak away, very quietly they left the house. Stopping in the barn they lit two lanterns and then were off into the night.
In the darkness the Statue seemed bigger and a little scary but they approached it and introduced themselves, to their amazement the statue replied. "Hello, it is very nice to make your acquaintance, my name is Crevux. Would you like me to read a story for you?"
After that night Gretchen and Gannet came back many times and Crevux would always read for them a new and exciting story.

Statue - model is from threedscans.com, the original is by artist Emmanuel Fremiet, Marble 1867.
The models at threedscans.com are free but they are very dense, I use the free application MeshLab 2016 to reduce the poly count from 2.4M to 190K and it still has good details.
