I LOVE seeing these type's of photos. I love history. Do you ever watch 'Antiques Roadshow'? I have a heap of that sort of stuff in storage. I would never sell it.....

I have a portrait of my great-grandparents. He is wearing button top shoes. I can't imagine trying to button them by hand especially if you had arthritis. Utilitarian with a colorful handle.
