Lund Railway Station 2018-02-27, 13:10 / 1 PM After posting my snow photos today I received requests to post some snow at the Lund railroad station photos. So here they come - 2 photos here and 2 on my next post. The thumbnail here is taken from the pedestrian overpass, looking south, towards Malmö. There are 2 covered platforms to the right. There are 2 tracks between each set of platforms, making a total of 6 tracks. To the left is a long building, once freight and storage rooms. Today, barber shop, restaurants, ticket office for provincial trains and buses, paper store, taxi parking, bus stops, and so on. Very good use made of this building. This photo shows passengers getting on or off a local train. The strange thing with the trains is most of them can't keep a schedule in bad weather! This train was ON TIME! The long building to the left of the platform is the one I just described above. To the right is the roof over a platform and an escalator and stairway leading to the platform (made of corrugated metal). Note it is NOT fog in the photo! It's dreadfully cold and very windy, so that's blowing snow, not fog. Enjoy? Well, if you like freezing! :-)
