Une pinasse du bassin d'Arcachon ou pinassote est une petite embarcation à fond plat, à voile au tiers et avirons puis à moteur. Elle est utilisée traditionnellement pour la pêche et l'ostréiculture. Maintenant elles servent aussi pour des promenades sur le bassin. A pinasse of the basin of Arcachon or pinassote is a small flat-bottomed boat, with a third veil and oars and then motor. It is traditionally used for fishing and oyster farming. Now they are also used for walks in the basin.
