Viewing the thumbnail, I thought I saw the snout and eyes of a pig resting on the tree trunk (snout to the lower left). That would have been creepy. Sliced indeed

Easily the weirdest tree stump I have ever seen, and I've seen tonnes of them. Looks like a glob of barf sitting on top of a dinner plate ensconced inside a bird's nest. Evidently there were a lot of ancillary branches running up the trunk which should explain the cuts on the outside perimeter. Great capture, Helle.
