Vizious (Introduction): Vision + Vicious = Vizious The game of Vizious begins by witnessing your personal funeral in a surprisingly shocking moment. While you pan around the camera during the funeral, your spiritual existence travels slowly upwards and away while the scene gets dimmer and darker, until you find yourself in a dark industrial world, initially surrounded by trees and a stony bridge in the distance, dark/light spirit forms, nothingness, hollow sounds and noises, and you can not see/hear your own being (only before Character Creation). In this demanding adventure game, you can level up several attributes, find loot for aid, protection and weaponry, build up your Vizion in both Dark/Light, depending on your ways of acting in that bizarr environment. The thrill of story telling will be through scenes that are deciphered (Vizualized) by you, as the Dark/Light versions in this new found world after your death, may resemble similarities of events from your lifetime. The same can be experienced about the NPCs' events, if your Vizion is relatively strong - such memory fractions are to be Vizualized in a faint quality. With your Vizion, you can become able to Darken or Lighten creatures, enemies, vehicles, machines and a variety of other beings and things. Form this paranormal reality in interesting ways. Besides strong challenges, this gimmick entertains and rewards the player, additionally and individually. Besides the input of my personal unique fantasy, my focus to design the world of Vizious, is pretty much based on concentrating about aspects, moods and atmospheres from the universes of Bloodborne, BlackThorn, Dark Souls, Murdered, The Surge, and even Castlevania. Vizious at Silent Meadows (Introduction): When the adventure of Vizious is about to begin, after your death was witnessed by attending to your own funeral, you will find yourself next to some trees in the starting area, Silent Meadows. It is already pretty late at night and darkness falls soon. In the encaved area upon start, you will realize some smoke coming from a tree to your right, a bit farther ahead. As you approach the smoke, you can make out a human skull sitting in a bulge inside a tree's mast. The smoke that is coming from a strange metal-orb, is the kind of essence the player needs for gathering Vizion. You shall get close and into contact with the smoke, and the skull will talk to you in a wicked way. Your form is not yet determined, and that skull is the player's guide to make you Vizualize yourself. Can you remember who you were, and how you looked like? Thanks to the smoke, you gained enough Vizion and can (must) Vizualize yourself now. Character Editor is coming up. You create yourself - the Character you sought to be in your afterlife. After Character creation is done, it takes (a short amount of) time for you to see, feel and realize the effects taking affect. In other words, your physical form gets assembled in a fade-type of manner. If you are traversing too soon towards the stonebridge overhanging a fairly broad river, the screen will fade black and a suitable sound will atone, as you are transported back for like 500m or so - that is because your Vizion is not yet working good enough whilst focusing on the Vizualization of yourself. In the meantime, you can watch the sky - some flashes and lightning strikes occur. You may be thoroughly checking the edges of the encaved area in which you can only navigate currently - but there is nothing else to collect around these parts. You choose to traverse towards that bridge again, of course. As you are about 50m close to it, rain falls lightly. And at that moment, your Vizualization is about to be finalized too. A triggered scene will occur, that focuses on your excitement and self-questioning and questioning of this new found world in which you are now within. The Character lifts their arms and checks out their body's looks and functions, like as if a miracle had happened. This self investigation will be interrupted, by the machinery noise of an incoming vehicle, about to cross over the bridge in front of you. The whole drive-by and crossing is still part of the auto-scene, where the player can not do more but controlling the camera freely. This also includes the Character's drawback into the trees and bushes. The Character is frightened, but not too much. Most of all they react/behave vigilant and conentrated. The scene and the dynamic game melt together, awakening intense atmospheric feels in the player. But besides just that single example, Vizious will have a lot more excitement in store to be unlocked, either by standard progressing or through secret discoveries. Here comes an example of an additonal excitement to be witnessed. If the player looks carefully at the right side of that vehicle, they can Vizualize, LICRIUM forfeit reality - enter the machine. Surely this will cause excitement in the player's mind, and this is where story is begun to be pursued/imagined by the player on their own. Licrium: A vehicle manufactorer, with a dark focus. Just to spoil a bit, Licrium is an automobile manufactorer with weird cybermechanic quantum-physics based tech, who wants to rule the souls condemned to this dimension, mostly for development reasons and producton. They may not be totally evil, but they sure are pretty much dark and wicked. There will be a lot of story/lore around Licrium. After the player's Character was Vizualized, they can cross that stonebridge and access more of the Silent Meadows area, and can inhale smoke from metal-orbs they discover around there. The good (important) thing is, that as usually, those essences can easily be seen by the player from afar, this time, by a smoke streaming upwards, altered by wind maybe too. The next area will be the Oily Grasslands. Around there are some of the first (enemies) creatures to be engaged if provoked by the Player. For example, some rather brainless-behaving Licrium Workers will be about. There, combat can be trained by the player easily. Of course, creatures drop essence (Vizion). Well, thank you kindly for reading! There is already more documented where this came from. And there will be greatest stuff, even things that we can not yet even think about. Vizious is the video game world I have the most desire for to create. I can never do that alone. But I keep documenting my visions for it, while I will study 3D-Game Art & Animation and other related technologies. Let us awaken that universe, one day! Before that may happen, smaller video game projects that I also have started to detail, are in my foremost focus, also to build up money.
