1957 - I was 7. Yet I remember them "fold out their wings and fly around the block". They were not light cars, quite heavy due to thick metal, hence durable. And easy to repair. I recall seeing owners with the hood up and head in the engine compartment. In 1971 I saw one in an accident with a Volvo. There was hardly a dent in the Buick station wagon, but the Volvo was crumpled like an accordion. According to Volvo at the time, this was a built in crumple zone for passenger safety, but it sure looked strange at the time! Keep up the good work! :-)
