Description

A history of art studied from the point of view of Women artists remains to be done. What makes one memorize the work of the artists men and almost not that of the women? These have often only visibility as model more or less clothed ... I start this new series by developing a kind of controversial tribute to creativity and to the forgotten place of women in art. I am inventing a series of small trades that have disappeared from museums, as if all these little invisible hands were helping to make art what we still admire today. In my mind, all these workers are like scientists, artists who have to teach us that being an artist is not doing something to hang on the wall, but a certain way of being in the world and of to reveal what makes it precious to us. Interesting, unusual, original. The ladies caring for the art objects but not seen by the public. I find your new slant very interesting - looking forward to more of your interpretations. Keep up the good work. :-)
