Description

This picture is a modification of my submission for Renderosity Art cover contest (was not satisfied with the foreground, and with the lights). Now I'm rather satisfied ;=) There are only 4 spotlights with very high soften settings in this. Light comes mainly from outdoor through a large window. Most of the objects were done in AMorphium 1.0 (chess set also, closer view in my gallery). All the scene was composed and textured in Vue 2.1, no postwork (31 h render with PIII 933MHz). Plants are from Varian's, piano is from the web , but I can't remember the origin Hope you enjoy ;=)

Thanks for all these kind words ! ;=) render was in Vue2.1. I think with Vue4 the quality could be better since there are volumetric light and caustic features, but maybe with a longer rendering time

Inspirational work Yves! It is awesome to see what you can do with 2.1. I think it is your turn to write a tutorial on how you created this gorgeous scene. I know I would love to know some of those secrets ;)
