after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Oh, Hon, I'm so sorry. I wish I could do or say something to really make a difference. I hope you get the new job, or landscaping? Home Depot? Restaurant work? I'm thinking of you!

Hope things start looking up for you. Awesome scene!

Oh, Steve, I am so sorry for the pickle you are in...your so-called friend is a pathetic excuse for a human being. Have you ever entertained seeking out paperback publishers to see if you could do artistic layouts for their covers? With the current mess we have in DC, who knows what will happen to the job market. Keep in mind this is the dawning of the age of robots--robot operation/repair?
Anyway, keep up with your 3D--it will keep you sane, and besides we all love viewing what you've created>>this current one is wonderful (you keep reminding me that I have that never-used telescope, LOL), I really like the atmo, the galaxy-laden background, and, of course, the interesting nerdy little gal...

Aw, man.... This is heartbreaking news, Steve. Sounds like your "friend" is a real piece of work. What a pathetic excuse for a human being... I wish I knew what to say or do that would help.. I do hope something presents itself for you. It's always darkest just before the dawn, so hopefully something unexpected will come up and will turn the tide for you. I'll definitely keep you in my prayers, bro.
Your art is so wonderful, and would be missed by all of us. This is a magnificent piece, buddy.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Hope you can stay on board here, would make me sad not to see your wonderful art here.

Been there done that, well not a tent under a bridge but on the river bank next to it, only went under it to get out of the rain traffic was too loud to sleep under it...Lot of years ago now but it was definitely the low of the lows, was lucky though got in a shelter got cleaned up Sober and Straight took a while but got myself back in the Race and been smooth sailing since, well mostly anyway...Don't give up where hope there is a chance Bro

With memories from eleven years ago, and a certain "curiosity" about this prolific new arrival to Renderosity, I watched day after day as you etched your imaginative works upon these walls... wondering who this prolific new name might be. In time I learned to appreciate the man behind his art, and know that your talent and desire will be a force that will continue to flourish. Be strong and inspired by this adversity... return well and strong.

first time to see this prop. superb lighting. too bad about your situation. I have heard that one bad thing can lead to something better. it happened to me in 86 after losing my employment just after buying the home that I still live in. I managed to survive, but often wondered if I would be homeless with my son. anyway I got in to contracting and made far more money at it than my previous work. If I had an issue with a client, I could make the decision not to work for them any longer. I was always getting ragged by a nasty female employee where I was employed for 20 years, but had to suck it up and do my job

That sucks Steve. Not your art the story, your art is as always outstanding. I hope everything works out for you.

What a great scene, right out of a storybook! I will keep you in my thoughts and wish you all the best for new employment. Hang in there, Steve!:)

That's sad to hear, sir. Best advice I can give you is get out of that house and meet as many new people as you can, every single day, that way you avoid seeing your housing buddy too. If you want more for yourself you have to focus on your image and give yourself more credit. YOU can do this! Get a private security job or something small to start, it's not much but it's something. Best of luck to you, good sir! Now go to sleep... you have a busy day tomorrow =)

Bugger... just when you think you are as low as you can go, someone hands you a shovel to dig a deeper hole. You are certainly not alone in this world with situations like this buddy. Hope something comes along soon. Like ya image as well.
