I still don't see the logic behind it.

The logic beind bexit is simple - The Conservative party had to save themselves electorally from this UKIP (UK Independence Party) who were closing in on them and stealing vote share. The "Self-servatives" have been in power by rigging the system for soooo long they had to act, even if it destroys the country. Europe is a threat again to their strangle hold, so, despite the massive dangers to the country, this useless remnant of the Empire "Great" Britain, Europe had to go. Power and control, just as it always has been.
