Nice render, I like it. But I do not believe the story, someone has made a mistake in war. The SM79 has the insignia of the Spanish air force that was used during the Spanish Civil War 1936-1939, but not in 1942. North Africa: possible in the Spanish protectorate of Morocco, but Spain was then a nominally neutral country. As for the Spitfire, I do not know if I flew in Africa, but this version started its production in 1944.

If I remember what I did many months ago, it is not a Spitfire but a Hurricane, but I am not sure and I have not checked. All other things you say are very likely true, you seem to be well informed about what you comment about. I was intending a scene on Lybia and I thought the Savoia-Marchetti was painted as in the Italian airforce, but you say it is Francoist, it surely must be. I learnt something, thanks for correcting me!
