3d art is a hobby for me. I just follow the potential I discover in all the fabulous 3d models available to me. I look for distinctive, real faces and expressions and interactions. Self taught, so I know some stuff, and yet not other stuff about 3d art. I don't follow trends, nor have to answer to clients. Often, I start with an interesting prop and build from there. Photography and old-school art have influenced me.

Very beautiful! Great scene!
Just a Tip: Take a deformer and move the surface of the pillow back from the face, so that the impression of a hard heavy head on a soft pillow gets visible and the face/head does not intersect with the pillow.

Hi FurNose, thank you for your suggestion. I found a great tutorial video by VD GFX that was easy to follow to learn how to make Dformations. I'm working on the pillow, and will repost this graphic.

I went off on a tangent trying to learn how to make the head placement on the pillow more realistic. I went a long ways and got involved with all sorts of new tools and techniques. But I never quite got the head right.
