Excellent fire. The small ship in back seems out of scale. Good post work too!

Great pic..only thing the man in the front looks too small compared to the scale of the waves? Right..or is it just me? Excellent Nevertheless ...

wonderful to see good a little old days of wooden ships in this age of metal stars. love the texture. no markings on the ships though, what flag are they sailing under? look forwar to another... ...the rich

Lots of fire and no smoke? Black powder would have clouds of smoke as well. Holes in sails, and not so much sail showing. "Battle" sails was IIRC most sail furled and just enough on to make way. Rearmost ship is a bit out of scale. All that said, you have a good idea going. Just needs a few tweaks.
