When we started to travel, I had to give up physical books and switch to an electronic reader. Your book stack makes me nostalgic for those "before times" when I had a pile of six or ten books waiting on my end table at all times. I would stack the books in the order I wanted to read them, and when I finished one I would just grab the next one off the top. sigh Those were the days!
