I lied, I'm back for one more. I loved this when it went up and I had to comment on it. (Btw, RR, after a long bout of zoomed photos that were too small---at least on some computers---now has zooms that are humongously big. If you have that problem on your machine, let them know. They just don't seem to get the mark on this. It's hard enough to get people to zoom, but to have to put up with this merry-go-round that some of us have had to put up with is just crazy...) I love the confluence of this, and the vivid hues, despite the rain coming down. I love the lines made by the rain (your shudder is open just enough to capture some of the pathways, not just the drops). And the rain pulls everything together, rather than interferes. As urban (or town) mania, it's a great shot of things crammed together. And your composition goes from really smashed together to an open left side, with its sense of 'tapering off'. Love the din of the shot...when you do architecture and towns, you get as intense a vibe as you do with nature. Love the work, and the "Gino's" sign is a perfect 'entry' to it all...btw, i appreciated the shots of the marches of students. It's so good to see that uprising after so many years. I was active in all such things for years, but in recent years, individual service has been about all I could keep up with, so I've not been publicly active. But your shots were heartening to see...
