Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive. All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

You do some great work with your props, Mike.

Very intricate scene Mike. Shame you're not happy with the finish!

Cool idea - I see the noise hard to say without knowing the lighting setup!

Yep, you need to up your samples and render time when you get stuff like this. In the render settings tab, under Progressive Rendering, turn up Max Samples all the way. (You can increase it further in the parameter settings.) You can also increase max time...it's in seconds. I usually just double it to 14400 and let it rip. Don't forget, you can stop the render when it looks good enough.

Kinky, but after the wrestling match they will definitely need a bath.

Great work

If this is an open scene, adding a low intensity skydome as a filler light might help.

It is amazing!

They had better hurry up or the water will be cold.

Good job, despite your lighting problems. Considering the comparative size of the subject matter, hat is the largest bathroom I have ever seen.

Well, I could make all kinds of wisecracks about joining them in the games (or tub), but I wouldn't want Queen Zlata to turn me into a toad! LOL
I would start with a spotlight to the front and above at about a 45 degree angle, set the spot to square, and the height and width both at 100. Then you can start moving it around to see where the shadows fall, and add one or two more spots to open up the shadows a bit.
From what Dee said it looks like this set comes with its own lights and cameras, which could make a great place to start.
Anyway, it's a wonderful scene even with the grain, Mike!

Maybe just take turns?

An electrician can probably do something about the lighting... it looks like the classic DS noise you get in low lighting conditions. I'd try to render at a really high-res 4000pix+ blur the noise and then size it down to 2000pix and sharpen it. I like the stars twinkling in the window... it sets a nice quiet evening mood.

nice scenery. give it a further try with 'architectural sampler' set to 'on' and 'render quality' set to 100 - 500.

Nicely work!
